Beeches on High offers a unique getaway experience right in the heart of Beechworth set on the banks of Spring Creek and Beechworth's original gold digs. Beeches on High (Circa 1870) is a Victorian cottage built over 2 levels with the upper floor entering at street level, and the lower floor exiting onto beautiful English style gardens and the sounds of Spring Creek babbling away at the rear of the property.

The upper floor offers 3 large, tastefully restored bedrooms and a formal lounge. Original fireplaces can be found in 2 out of 3 bedrooms and also in the formal lounge. Split heating & cooling is also located in the entry. Decorated with rich heritage colors, the bedrooms, furnished with original cast iron Victorian beds, offer 1 x Queen bed , 1x Queen bed plus single bed and 1x Double bed plus single bed. A sofabed is also available.
Ideally suited for 3 couples or 2 families, Beeches will sleep 10. Additional trundle bed /mattress can be added for extra children.

The lower floor level, constructed 140yrs ago of local honey granite rock, offers a relaxed inviting atmosphere where one can keep cool in the summer months or warm in winter with the combustion wood fireplace. It consists of a well equipped kitchen with modern appliances, a large family / dining room offering a tv and dvd, separate bathroom with spa bath and laundry facilities plus a separate toilet. (2nd tv and dvd is available in upper floor lounge).

Exiting the rear door on the lower level you enter a tiered level English cottage garden. An undercover barbeque is provided with a large garden house for your group to share a wonderful meal or drinks with the trickling sounds of Spring Creek only metres away.
The property offers undercover parking for one vehicle and street parking for 2 or more vehicles as required. An ECO friendly view has been taken by installing a 2 kw grid connected solar system to supplement the output of greenhouse gases and in addition 3 water tanks are provided for the gardens.

Beeches on High, only 150 m from shops and restaurants, offers a great holiday or weekend choice for 1, 2 or 3 couples or combined family or group accommodation, including that much sought after girls weekend away.
